Plant Seeds of Hope

Green quotesWhen I think back to my life story, I wouldn't be here if it hadn't been for the West Ohio Food Bank. There were times in my life when I just didn't miss a meal, but times when I went a week and half without food - that's starvation... let those who are hungry know someone cares and is willing to see them through to the next day. I Close green quotesrecognized that meals are hope and a way to give back to our community.

"Plant a Seed of Hope" - Spring Mailing

Seeds of Hope MailerAs a thank you to all of our donors, we would like to give you something back & another opportunity for you to "Plant a Seed of Hope" this Spring. For those that have given a donation in the past year (May 2013 - April 2014), we have sent you a special mailing.

With the enclosed "Seed of Hope", you can grow a small herb garden of basil, parsley, and chives. We would love to see the product of your gardens. If you want to go above this or if you don't like these herbs, grow your own produce to create your own "Seed of Hope" garden. Send us pictures of your garden as it grows. Also, if you have great recipes that include these herbs or other produce grown in your garden, email those to us as well.

FacebookPictures & recipes can be sent to P.O. Box 1566, Lima, OH 45802 or emailed to end_hunger@wofb.org. By submitting pictures & recipes, you give us permission to post these pictures & recipes on our Facebook page.

Would you consider donating your herbs and/or produce?

We would love to help out our partner agencies with some extra produce this Summer & Fall.

If you are not able to use all of your produce, or would just consider donating
the full harvest of your garden, we are asking that you donate it to one of our
partner agencies that is in your community.

We thank you for your continued support, because without your contributions, we could not do what we do.
