The West Ohio Food Bank and Safeway Packaging are pleased to announce a new partnership. Safeway Packaging will begin delivering boxes to the West Ohio Food Bank on Thursday, November 7th at 10:00 a.m. This delivery marks the start of a new partnership that will provide substantial savings to WOFB allowing more funds to be directed to the mission of “Ending Hunger Together”.
Brian Garver, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bryan Fitch, Plant Manager, and Jennifer Taylor, Customer Service Representative will be in attendance when the first delivery is made to illustrate the commitment being made to WOFB and this important new partnership. An important “Key Value” at Safeway Packaging is, “Treat everyone with Dignity and Respect.” This delivery takes that value to an even higher level as they partner with the food bank to provide a cost saving solution to several of the distribution projects that are ongoing at WOFB.
Gary Bright, CEO of WOFB will also be present for this delivery. “We are extremely grateful for this generous donation from Safeway and look forward to this new partnership continuing to grow for many years. A cost savings this significant makes an enormous impact on our ability to continue effectively serving the nutritional needs of seniors in our region." says Gary Bright, CEO.
All of those present will be available to answer questions and provide interviews.
